Bush Threatens Democrats for not Dealing on Social Security
But Josh Marshall reports that although Bush made the threat in Albuquerque, NM, the local Congressperson, Heather Wilson (R, NM) refuses to be seen with him as he goes about his nationwide attack on Social Security. She has also been vary careful not to take any position regarding the Social Security (unwritten) phase out plan of the White House.Can we assume that she has read the polls and wants to keep her Congressional seat, while he hasn't read the polls and doesn't run for reelection?
